Hi all , i have a bad vibration through the Truck , it appears only to be present when under Acceleration, if i back out of the throttle then No vibration , any ideas of where to start looking?
Also looking for a Accelerator pedel setup and new cable if you could point me in the right direction . 86 Ford Bronco 4x4 351 Automatic.

you may want to inspect your u-joint as well

Mine would always vibrate at 27 mph through 53 mph. It turned out that I had a bolt on my transfer case that was hanging on by the threads and that was causing the vibration at those speeds only. It was weird.

Ill try the u joint replacement first , and by then hopefully ill have the cure, if not ill await the outcome of the torque converter replacement.

You guys seen the Aussie version of the Bronco ? ill try and post some pics soon.

I just noticed mine started doing this as well. Started thinking I need to replace them U-Joints anyways. Already had them laying around, just no time to put change them out. Also about time I change my plugs and wires. As soon as I get my check those will be changed out. I have 1 question though, would lube'n the U-Joints help at all with the vibration for a few days? I was thinking that they could be dry, and maybe need some lube.

Problem Found no more Vibration !

Thanks for the input all, well the problem was the Diff centre! it had broken the flange around the main gear and the pinion gear and every thing else was worn out totally, just think i did 650 miles over the weekend on this diff centre and all i had was a slight whine and a vibration at acceleration!
Here is a link i found for all those still struggling with Vibration issues.;)
