Just curious, anybody know who provides Wally World with their Supertech brand of oil and filters? Are they any good?

I don't know about them, but I sure wouldn't buy one. The Ford Motorcraft ones are so cheap, why bother?

I just want to know who makes the product for Wal-Mart, didn't say I was using them...

I believe it's made by Quaker-State (crap from what I read).

There is an oil filter test somewhere out there that showed it. It was a thread a few times here on FSB too so you may find it from searching. It shows what company makes what brands of filters. Out of the hundred or so brands of oil filters there is only a handful of manufactirers.

Filter, Oil, Study (original)
Source: by Russ W K at minimopar.knizefamily.net
but Supertech is nit cited

Wal-Mart Supertech is made by Champion Labs accord to a pal's info a few yrs ago

Also. there is a thread in here last year about Wallymart's MotorCraft oil filter being a different size (smaller heaight i believe) than prev MC filters sold by WM.

(Champion Labs also makes many filters for AC-Delco).

I use supertech oil in my 90 bronco. I burn/drip a quart about every 600-700 miles (190k miles on 1990 302). Been using 10w30.. I'm going to switch to 10w40 this next oil change.

If you have a higher mileage engine that uses some oil you can't beat $7.50 for 5 quarts.

I use motorcraft oil filters.
