What year F550 is that shackle for? I was looking at some 2006 F550's and I could have sworn they had a slipper type mount

The base is made out of this

This is what the bolts are screwed into

I got all my stuff from the Home Depot. I got the thickest stuff they had.
I bought the bolts from the same section.
I took the panel covering the window off put a piece of wood over the window and drilled the holes. Mount the bolts with the nut facing up and tightend. After I tightend everything up I took the cable off on the driver side holding the tailgate and slid the cover under the brackets. I used eyebolts because I can use a screw driver and tightend the piss out of it.

to make the shakle work I welded metal on the ends and drilled it out the match the size of the original sized bolt. I could not get the spacer in the middle of the spring pack to drill out to a 5/8" hole. Which is the size of the bolt hole on the new shackle. Just so you know. Im sure there are plenty of other ways to do it and I may get flamed for the way I did it, but it works for me.
