Not that I'm about to run out and get one of these tomorrow or anything, but im just curious. If someone put one of these in a Bronco, what Automatic Transmission would you put in behind it?

2012 BOSS 302 5.0L 444HP CRATE ENGINE -- M-6007-M50B

I bet it would run almost $25,000 for everything to do this conversion. Definately cheaper ways to go for sure, but would top the coolness factor thru the roof.

or
6r140 from the superduty
if you plan on building motor, SAS, and tires >35"

If you got the 25k to get the motor might as well go all out and get a real tranny, get an adapter and put a allison 1000 in their with a controller.

why? that would be a downgrade from a 6r140 that bolts to it(assuming it uses the modular bell housing bolt pattern from the 4.6/5.4):twak

according to big3diesel.com

the allison 1000 is rated for Estimated. 775 - 800 lb-ft
while the ford is at 1,400 lb-ft

Sounds like it would be a good Tranny if you could find one.
Might have to opt for the Supercharged version of the Boss 302 though to give that thing a work out.
