It looks like I just bought an 1986 bronco today the truck is not running but the owners said that it would nt take much to get it running. I a 1986 bronco 4x4 with a 300 inline and anybody have anyidea what kind of equipment the truck will have on it tranny t-case axles I would typicaly find on this year of truck

any hely would be helpful

All that info should be either on the info sticker on the door jam, or on a tag on the t-case......

Walk straight into Walmart or a bookstore and order or buy a $12.00 Haynes manual. Refuse Chilton and wait for the Haynes boy !

that was helpful I will be getting the truck tomarrow so I do not have the door jam #'s to decode I was just wondering what I have to look foward to, I did notice the dash shift indicator did not sayanything about overdrive like the D with teh circle around it or anything so I am wondering if it is a C-6 tranny and it looks like it has a 9" ( no rear end plate all the bolts where in the front)
