Maybe its rejecting its new organsI bleed the rear disk set up I just put on the 78. And then I told the Bronco how pissed I was at it for puking gear oil out the axle seal all over my new rear disk pads. Bad Bronco
Its the Redhead steering gear or steering box.Which redhead pump did you use? Any details? My steering has too much play.
Heard that stuff stinks(as in smells bad)...is it true?
Thats more like what your "Bronco did to you today"found out the lower air duct i put in for the k&n to actually be a CAI flew off somehow and got lost on the highway, even though i put 3 bolts on it
I have to chuckle every time someone says..."my Bronco is bucking"Bah, fooled around with it Friday. It started as a stumble/hesitation/bucking while driving, a week or two ago. Kept getting worse, to where it would die if the gas was pressed. After spending the night googling, and most of Friday working on it. I decided my time was worth more per hour working on projects for my side business, and sent it to the shop.
Big mistakeBought some new to me electric fans for my truck from the local junk yard!
Next time remove the plastic fender well...takes about ten minutes. Then the plugs are almost to easy to get toGreat weather here today. Provided the motivation to get some work going again. Changed the oil and filter. Greased her joints. Started the six liter tune up. The two back plugs on the passenger side were a biotch to get out. Broke one on the way out. Air pump pipe made it worse. But got it done all that's left is the timing bump. Tomorrow supposed to be nice again. Should get the timing done. May tackle front brake pads.
Just found out my daughter's heep needs brake pads too. :shocked She wants to do it herself. :rockon Wants to learn. Way cool. What better way to spend a Sunday then wrenching on our rides with our daughters. :drinkbud
Crutchfield lets you shop by vehicle year/make/model, so the speakers you get fit without cutting plus they give you the wire adapters so there is no cutting/splicing.In your '79? I'm working with my '90 and the OEM speaker measures 6 1/4" from outer edge to outer edge. I have an old set of 6 1/2" in the garage and tried to slap 'em in... but they weren't sitting into the depression hole made for 'em at all. :shrug
One is made in Taiwan and the other is "assembled" in USA...Raybestos gets around eh
Dude do it.....start a Kickstarter fund raiserSo do MotorCraft, Echlin, and everyone else. :shrug If I could build my own from US steel & polyurethane, I would. :toothless
