Looks kinda like a speaker/siren. Do you have a CB radio with a mic that could be hooked up to it or any sort of siren or extra loud horn?

Just got this bronco a few months ago and I’m finding all kinds of stuff from the previous owner. Thanks for the quick replies.

I have a '95 XLT that is pretty much untampered and I found a similar "speaker" in a similar location under my hood on the left rear near the MC and CC servo. I just wrote it off as a P.O.s security system, but there are no residual controls or wiring. Now I'm intrigued again.

I think it’s a play horn. Had one in mine and took it out.

It is either a PA speaker/horn or an aftermarket alarm system. Not a factory item.
