This is between the battery and the firewall on my ‘94 Bronco EB 5.8L

What is this hose in red? Should it be hose clamped, it keeps coming off under power?

What is the small canister in blue?

There is nothing on the other side of the small canister (green), looks like another hose would fit on there, am I missing something?

On my '94 , the same hose would fall off. I used a zip tie and solved the. No change in anything else.

Mine has the same thing. I do not ever remember a hose being on it and my motor had been fine since I bought it 8 years ago.

It is the smog pump silencer on the dump side. When the smog pump is unneeded, the extra air is dumped out that tube. No tube on the “green” location.

The one just in front is the silencer for the smog pump intake.

This post has a good diagram. TAB/TAD vaccum line
