What is this and how do I keep it from hitting my firewall? Thanks for any help.

It's the Bypass/Diverter valve for the Thermactor (secondary air injection) system. You could just wrap it in a little insulation so it won't scratch/make noise on the firewall.

Check your motor and tranny mounts. They could be bad and be causing those issues.

An easier fix is to loosen the hose clamps, reorient it a bit, and tighten them back down. It's sad that the A.I.R. hoses are the only thing supporting the TAD valve, but that's the way Ford made it.

sometimes the server gets slow or your comp doesnt follow through w/ it's processes before you exit the page or go to the next one, i dont think its anyone else's fault, just make sure you check that your post is there after you supposedly post it

if your unsure just copy everything u type then you can just paste it into another reply if it doesnt come up
