Got to a steep spot and the truck would not go forward anymore on the ice. When backing up he hit the brakes and we just slid. Options: ditch or cliff?
Glad there was no damage...we just got back from cruising up 410 towards Chinook Pass. Alot of campers and alot of Jeepers. Took the kids sledding up on 12 pretty cool time...
want to know how much snow Chinook pass gets...LOOK HERE!
Towing in the snow isn't too fun. I just got done towing a quad back from Elk camp over Willamette Pass. The trailer really liked to try and make its way in front of the bronco, but luckily it never did.
As much as I hate to admit it, a very cool gentleman in a :cry
Chevy pickup. He had chains on all 4 tires and pulled the trailer out like it was sittin in my driveway. He then towed the trailer and the F150 up the hill to a spot we could camp for the night. We actually had 3 different rigs stop to help. Hunters have a pretty good brotherhood! :thumbup
ahhh, hunting. i wondered what you crazy F'ers were doing out there with a trailer on that road. so... an alien space ship towed you out huh? yeah, thats the story id use... lol, good hunting, AXE
