I just got a 87 bronco for parts and my friend a 95 with a 5.0 and he droped the E40D. And I don't know if you could swap tranny.

my 87 has a aod tranny in it

But it has a 8.8 with the abs sensor. So I can use the rearend but not the tranny.

It probably does not have abs and it is the 8.8. You could not swap it into a 95. Not easily anyway. Yours has the VSS sensor. It is an abs sensor and velocity sensor in one. If you don't have it your computer and tranny will do strange things.

if it has reverse it is an AOD.
if it doesn't have reverse it is a C-6

The AOD stopped being installed in Broncos in '92, which means all the automatics after that were all E4ODs, and the manuals were those Mazda thingys.
