Hey can someone help me ID this canister in the upper left corner? It has a tiny white vacuum line that has disintegrated. It is at the firewall/inner fender on the passenger side.

Thanks in advance.

IIRC, that's the actuator for the blend door. It controls the inlet of outside air.

Just replace the vacuum tubing and you'll be good to go.

It disengrated on our 96 f150 too, I think the texas heat does it. Anyway just cut the bad and slip on some hose. It will make your ac work better if the hose doesn't have holes in it. I'm not exactly sure how it all works, but after we slipped some hose on the line the ac worked properly again.

follow the line down into the plastic loom as far as you can to make sure it hasn't become brittle anywhere else too.

Awesome, thanks guys. My dad said the a/c cut in and out when he picked it up. I hope that fixes it.
