I'm planning on going to 1 tons and was wondering what size wheels I would need. Can I run 15's or do I need to go to at least a 16" wheel?

16's fit without any issue. With 17" and up tire prices dropping and the selection increasing I can't see ever wanting 15" wheels again.

You can run 15s if you get them with 3.5" or less back spacing, and do some grinding on the caliper brackets. I kept the big twin-piston Ford brakes, with 3.5" back spacing and had to grind about an hour's worth from each side, and on the 60 rear(not 10.25) did a chevy-disc swap and had to grind just a pinch on those.

So, without grinding, you're gonna want atleast a 16, if not 16.5 to 17.

The above is a typo, it's 2.5" or less backspacing to make 15s clear.

Just get 17s. 16s will clear, but 17" is fast becoming the industry standard.

Is that without grinding? It's been 4+ years since I got my beadlocks and measured them, so I could be wrong, but I thought mine were 3.5".

And if I had it to do over with, or just had the funds now, I'd just go 17s and screw all the grinding
