I'm lookin' ta buy a Detroit Truetrack for the front end of my '90 351 Bronco, But what front end is in it ? 44 ? 30 ? I have NO idea please help. How many spline ? If you have done a Truetrack in the front of yours, what is the part no. ? thank you-

depends on ratio


dana 44, 30 spline was in all 78-96 broncos

I have 3:55 gears in the rear if that helps.

why are you putting a trutrac in the front? what about the rear?

no real good for the rear either. just over priced open diff in my opinion.

they do work, but they only limit the slip envoloved. if a tire looses enough traction the other will not get 100% of the tq applied to drive forward. it will be more like 20% on a good day.

they are definatly not like a full locker.

I know, But that is what I wanted because I thought it would be better for snow and ice ? What is yer opinion for the snow ? I cant see my wife making a u-turn in the snow, under throttle, with a locker. and ill be danged if im gonna put in a positrack and have the clutches wear out-

The locker would be good if you could use a selectable, that what I want for the front end of my Bronco and F250. Yeah they do cost saddly....:cry
