I've got an '88 EB with a banged-up door. Will a door off an 86 fit, or do I need an 87-91?

Any door 80-96 will fit. Interior trim may be different.

Watch out for the 92-96 doors with car style mirrors, unless you can weld up the holes in the sheet metal they fit through.

94+ have side impact reinforcements, if you want to increase your safety somewhat.

i'm not sure what year it was when i replaced my passenger door but i knew it was an older style because it had metal interior door handles where i believe 87 and up use plastic. the only thing i needed to do to use my 89 trim was to drill out a hole in the door for the bracket the armrest uses, other than that is was a direct replacement.
