Hey all! Just joined this forum and recognize some of you from other sites. I'm a San Diego native living in Alpine, CA with my wife and couple kids, we recently got another Ford in the family - 1995 Bronco XL. I have had several OBS Ford F-150's and a couple Bronco's over the years but this was bought with more purpose in mind, for some family fun. My pops and I are building this together since we both love them, and figured would be a good way to spend time hanging out and share the fruits of our labor and efforts with the rest of the family (mainly the kiddos).

Since purchased, just deep cleaned and removed/replacing/refreshing some parts here and there that are not going to make the cut as is. Currently evaluating plans for how this ol dirty girl will be brought back to life to navigate Southern California, AZ and NV mountains and deserts. Most likely stock or 1-1/2" over width C&T/plated beams, c/o's, bumps, bypasses, cage, drivetrain and a few engine upgrades to allow it to at least not get mopped up by a prius or minivan on the highway.

Look forward to meeting some of you and participating in what seems like a great forum.

Yo Brandon,
Welcome and I'm looking FWD to your buildup.

ASAP, find out if speed control, if equipped, recall work completed by dealership. Call local dealer or register and view status @ Welcome to Ford Owner | Official Ford Owner Site; or @ Recalls Look-up by VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) ... have VIN ready.
"Summary: ON CERTAIN PICKUP TRUCKS, PASSENGER VEHICLES, SPORT UTILITY VEHICLES, AND MOTOR HOMES CHASSIS, THE SPEED CONTROL DEACTIVATION SWITCH MAY, UNDER CERTAIN CONDITIONS, LEAK INTERNALLY AND THEN OVERHEAT, SMOKE, OR BURN. THIS COULD RESULT IN AN UNDERHOOD FIRE."
See this guide by jowens1126 to confirm recall status @ 93 & 94-96 Cruise Control Recalls Repair
Note that the 93 recall is different than 94-96.

Nice! and thank you. My sister lives in Clairemont currently, my family stomped around that area back in the 70's before I was born and went to Clairemont HS.
