I have an 1990 with an 351w When i try to start it when its cold it wont try to start. It's geting enough fuel and enought spark. to get it started i have to wait 3-4 mins for the fuel-pump to turn off and then it will start. Me and dad change the pump and the spark wires and spark plugs about 2 mounths ago. I checked the fuel pressure on the fuel rail and theres anough gas that sqwarts out . If have any info it would be nice.

Search for this - there have been several cases of trucks not starting until the fuel pump stops, and IIRC, many resulted in replacing the EEC to fix it.
