I have a 96 Bronco 5.8 and can't get it to start. I installed new plugs, wires, fuel filter, cap and rotor. It would start but not idle. I changed the IPS with no luck. I walked away for a few days and now it won't start at all. Cranks over fine and you can hear the relays and fuel pump cycle whenever the key is turned. Didn't get any codes when it was running. I am stumped:banghead

Check your firing order and make sure you have all the wires on the cap snapped down? Just check your work, should be no reason for it not to run now, if it did before the tune up.

Got fuel in it? Check for spark? Start from there. "spout" connector back in?

rotor on seated fully?

got to be something simple, stupid, no offense, but it's usually something you overlooked, first. Good luck.

Thanks and no offense taken. I went to NAPA and got new cap and rotor and replaced them with SHMUCKS parts. Starts now so will not be doing any buisness at shmucks again. The problem now......just runs for about a minute or so then idle drops way down shutters then idles back up. it does this a couple times then dies. Will start but keeps going through this same scenario.....any ideas??

Idle air control motor, or IAC, two bolts looks like small pop can(half the size of a red bull =-}.) on side of throttle body with a wire conmector, you can remove it, spray it out with fuel injection cleaner.

or how's your voltage? could cause some of these issues, but most likely IAC.
