8.8 soon to come out, 14 bolt going in, shackle flip while I'm at it. Any merit in yanking the leafs off the '93 and putting them on the '84? Sure, they're 9 years newer but rated the same correct? Any benefits other than age?

If the '84 spring eye bushings are shot, there's another reason.

Make sure they're the same width, and compare the bottom leaf in each pack: some use a normal leaf, and some use an overload leaf.

Whatever you do do not throw any of those leafs away. You'll be swapping extra leaves into your existing pack after running the shackle flip for awhile.

Yep, that and torque lean. Not saying it's bad, I still like the flip, just saying stockpile stock leaves, they'll come in handy. BTDT, been running the flip myself for probably longer than anyone else here........nearing 4 years me thinks
