I want to find something fairly clean that Dixie Doll can drive and put a small lift on, I would probably tow my 79 with. My 79 sucks gas like it nothing. I would like to be able to tow it to Tellico And places like it.:thumbup

Had an 89 Bronco XLT five inch suspension lift with ext. radius arms, 2 or 3in body, 35in tires with 80%+ tread, new aluminum rims, custom exhaust, headers, inside in good shape, outside straight, needed painting, new tranny, but nss was bad. Got got 2000 sold for 3000. Truck was sweet.

towing your 79 on a bronco, your gonna get crap for milage.
get a 351 if you plan on doing a lot of towing.
Trust me I know all about crap milage but this way hitch the truck to the back go wheeling and get all four of us in it. So I would save milage by towing rather than driveing two trucks.:thumbup

I would agree, if you are towing, get the 351. Anyways, Tammy would probably enjoy driving it more with the 351 anyways.

I agree, get the 351. IMO I think the 5.0's in these big sleds aren't big enough. I have the 351 in my 95 and love it!!

Don't know how far you are willing to travel but there is one like the first one you posted 79F150 that was something like $3650 now marked down to $2650 near me.
