I got a 78 f-100 351m 400 that i am needin a stock starter. I have bought 2 starters from advanced auto parts and both of them messed up. So i need a stock starter. I would perfer it to be aroud the knoxville TN area but shiping is fine.

U should be able to return the starter and have it replaced at no charge,and have them test the new one in-store to make sure its ok.Atleast thats what I would offer one of my customer`s if they were having the same problems.Actually what I said is company policy,so if there giving you the runaround,call and complain.

i have a stock 351M starter from an 81 C6 auto if that will work.
