[What is this wire? I changed out my batteries yesterday should be a simple operation, I would have thought, but not for me....cranks fine, gauge shows output, but the little red battery icon on the dash above lights is lit up...

Its white, with a blue female spade connector on the end...runs out of the pack that goes to alternator

BTW is a 90, 351, double battery no isolator

I think that needs to be connected to the solenoid. Some how it must have come off when you removed the battery.

Jermil, it does not appear to go to the solenoid, has a female connector on the end
