I am logged in as a admin but when I try to install some drivers it says I need to be logged in as a admin to continue?
When you click on the name in the User Panel its under "Change My Account Type"where do I check the privileges at?
There is 4 accounts on this system, the main admin accound which I do not use, my wife and mine are both admins and a account for people for when they visit with limited use.
long fricken story, it starts with a 2 hour phone call last night from my syster who is not computer savy. from there it took abother hour for her to install a simple program so I could log into her system and fix it for her. That was the easy stuff.can i ask you one quick question?
if you're on the computer, and the computer is working fine, why are you installing new drivers?

he has exactly the same thing that I have goingon. problem is with the orginal disk the drivers cause my screen to loose big blocks some times a good 1 inche of the screen is gone, other times I just loose buttons. Something was up with the way the drivers were redrawing the screen.
