maf allows more flexibility with the numbers, and you can buy upgraded mafs which have usually tricked so that u can run larger injectors...

SD has just as much flexibility as soon as you get into programming... it's options are no less or greater then MAF.

Also, recal'd MAF's aren't the way to go.
