I'm finishing up my zf5 swap and I've read that the plug for the clutch switch was already in the autos. Does anyone have a picture of the stock location? I'm under the dash and I cannot seem to find it.
Thank you

That thread has a good pic of the plug installed on the clutch pedal assy. On the auto trucks theres a gray plug inserted into the end as a jumper to complete the circuits. Its tucked up kind of high, i want to say near the door chime and the factory stereo amp, but ive removed those so i cant say for sure. If no one posts a pic i can get one of it tomorrow.

I think it's more to the left, sort of above the steering column, but I don't remember exactly. It's pretty easy to find, once you know what it looks like.

This the clutch cancel plug. Because this is in an auto, there is a jumper installed in the end to complete the circuits

You would remove the jumper, and just plug the harness into the clutch cancel switch on the manual pedal assembly. Of note is this is a late model 96; the color code might be different depending on model year.

And here is where it is located in my 96:

This is pretty much looking straight up under the dash. The steering column is to the left of the pic, and im pretty sure thats where the door chime module used to be. You can see the plugs for the OEM stereo amp that i also removed.

Thank you! That thing was tucked way up there. If I had my seats in I don't even think I would have been able to get myself in there enough to reach it. Thanks again
