Just got this truck from a friend ran great the ride home got it home and the tachometer was jumping around and random reving and dying out. This morning only making this noise when trying to start. Ive
never heard it before this truck, Replaced the solenoid with a new one. Same noise. All wires tight. New battery and starter. Getting 12.6v at solenoid.
Where should the ground wires from battery to block and battery to frame be. Battery neg currently going to block.
Maybe ground issue?
Maybe defect solenoid?
