Sure, I can mention it but I've never once had this problem. I'm even running a single v-belt on my 428 stroker on my 69 F-250 since 2007 without squeal.
The key is which voltage regulator you have and whether your donor was the side mount or pivot mount variety. It's only very recently that the significance of those different sources has come to light.

Gotcha, I'm not advocating for the installation of any sort of 95A alt
It has nothing to do with 95A vs 130A. It's purely about the type of 3G soft start voltage regulator.

All my alts are Mustang or Taurus.
That's why you weren't aware of the issue. ;)

Crazy how both my 88 and 94 have 0 problems either then, huh? Or any of the dozens I’ve installed with the lone exception being a 200A on a single v-belt only on cold startups in a high hp 65 Mustang. I’m only seeing the problem with 95a’s on any of the threads posted so I’m just gonna start with a huge disclaimer saying how upgrading to the 95a is a waste of time and money and leave it at that.
You're still missing the point. You pulled from donor sources that the soft start voltage regulators are known to be on, so you bypassed the issue.

I think you only skimmed the first post of the earlier linked thread, judging from bringing up 95A repeatedly. That has nothing to do with it.

I would like to install a 130A alternator in my '94' that has a 95A alt. Not sure if the 130A will be the larger housing or not. (it will have the 2 holes instead of 4 holes)

If it is, will it fit w/o any mods. w/ exception to a larger gauge wire?
Direct plug 'n play, just need to upgrade the charge cable to handle the higher capacity. Yes to the 130A being a larger housing, but the mounting points are identical.

I swear, I've done this a couple of times now. And, I am still brain farting where to connect my starter, alt and battery cables on the solenoid. lol... I found a pic of Shadowfoxes set up, but, I was laughing at myself about this 3g deal. You'd think since I've done it on my 88 and 92 in the past, the 94 would be no big deal, just follow what was there before. lol, Ughhhh..
The '94 is easiest, since '93-96 are already 3G, just the smaller 95A version. All you need to do is upsize the charge cable, and the simplest way to go about doing that is to grab one from an Excursion or similar. It'll be shorter than the Bronco needs, but you'll want to add an inline fuse, anyway, so just add a fuse block near the starter solenoid and the "new" charge cable will reach that.

In summary of this thread, as I didn't read all 22 pages... this will be a direct swap BUT I need to add in a bigger charge cable and an inline fuse.
Correct. Your '96 already has the 95A 3G, so the larger case (130A+) of the same mounting style will be a direct fit.
