to answer your question no I dont know the size you need but its simple to find out just take a string and run it along the route you plan to have and measure the string and go buy the correct size

IMO Its a bad idea unless you plan on removing all of its components

 

Ok, so....it would be better to run it with a pump? I actually have one I can pull off an 88 f150 I have laying around. I am in Georgia also . Is there any particular place around Atlanta you recommend getting good parts at honest prices?

Other than that.. most junkyard ones are locked up from sitting.

I rarely find anything good in the junkyard.

 

As previously stated unless you will be virtually Off-Road only, won't need to pass DEQ emissions inspection and you plan on removing the entire Smog Pump system the Smog Pump itself has very little parasitic power drain. It is usually better to keep the system intact and replace the pump.

In fact there is virtually no gain from removing the pump and replacing it with a smog pump delete pulley as the parasitic loss of the delete pulley is virtually equal that of the smog pump itself when in good free working condition. Only minute gains will be made with a full smog pump system removal. Most of that just in weight and freeing up the engine bay.

There is this strange misperception that smog pumps rob power. Your A/C unit weighs more and has much more parasitic drag than a good working smog pump.
