thanks to massive flooding my truck wont start - fuel pump.

no whine from the fuel pump when i turn the key but the starter turns over like a champ, the fuel schraeder valve had fuel come out when i pressed down on it. is it most likely my fuel pump relay got screwed since my whole engine bay is soaked? before i go buying a fuel pump, which i might anyway, free panel anyone? and yes my inertia switch isnt tripped. thanks for your time,

ALSO, i have the cone k&n filter just chillin out in the open with no radiator/wiperfluid resevoir...cold i havewater all up in my stuff and if so should it be gone by tomorrow

it was just the relay. should i go ahead and replace the pump at 138k miles anyway also for safety measures? do they just poop out without reason or is it a gradual decline? i have bad mileage issues which may be my driving style or something else i cant figure out. taking my heavy foot out of the equation.

The pump will give you one or two warnings before it goes. My dad's bronco had a bad hiccup on the interstate then a week later it wouldn't start.
