Mine is missing in the 1990. I found one other thread about it, but I decided I would post another one to see if anyone has came up with more ideas on what to make the moisture barrier out of.

I'm thinking about using heavy plastic like Steve suggested, but can't think of which kind of plastic he was talking about and I wondered If the plastic would "sweat" and cause drips on the inspection plate side.

Edit- I cut a shower curtain and RTVed it into place. You cannot see it behind the inspection plate. So far so good, 6 months later
