They get good reviews online. 45K mile warranty LT Truck tire.
I had a promotion with a vendor I've used before online for tires. Got them SHIPPED to my door for less than $200 a tire.

35x12.50x15

The BFGs on the 95 EB are OLD. Dry rot etc. Considering the next tire in that size with good ratings was $140 or more for the set, figured they were worth a shot.

Bonus - the tires shipped from a NC warehouse and got to my place in VA in 1 day. Going to get them put on Saturday morning.

I ran the Dick Cepek Extreme Country MT 35x12.5 xR15 for a few years and recently switched over to the Dick Cepek Trail Country 35x12.5xR15.
They ride amazing with very little road noise yet still have aggressive tread. Great Tire and affordable!

Thanks....I did some digging and apparently they are actually made by Cooper. Anything is better than the ancient, dry rotted BFGs on there now and hell it rides pretty damn good on the interstate at 70 mph.

Ive always ran BFG's until the last couple years. These new DC Trail Country's ride just as nice as BFGs. I haven't had them off road yet but they plow through heavy rain and stick to the road.

I'm running DC Extreme Country on my Bronco and absolutely love them. I've had them for about 4 years and I want to say I have about 15K on them now, including wheeling and hauling stuff in the back. According to the tread steps/bars on the tires, I'm looking at about 20% wear. I usually drive very easy on the brocno but that is still excellent IMO and especially on a bronco with TTB that is very punishing. I would buy these again in a heart beat. If the Trail Country are anything like the Extremes in terms of their performance + longevity, I'd say they're def worth a look.

Good:
  1. Sidewall appears to be pretty good. I've accidentally clipped stumps and rocks that abruptly stopped me in my tracks. Got out, saw the stump buried in the side wall and feared the belts might be ripped. Nothing but a scuff on them. That was over a year ago and still no issues.
  2. Traction is great. In my experience, they hands down blow away the BFG TA on just about any terrain I go through. My bronco got stuck in some embarassingly mild terrain with the TA KOs and that was the last straw for me with those tires. The KO gets caked up with material too fast with no self-cleaning IMO. With the DCs, I've gone through everything from dry trails to some really sloppy stuff and they claw through almost anything I throw at them.
  3. Tread wear very good in my opinion.
  4. Easy to balance and haven't had to re-balance them.
  5. Very even treadwear, even though the TTB hates tires (and everything for that matter) and I was expecting the shoulders of the tires to take some abuse. They still look great and the edges are sharp.

Bad:
  1. They're definitely much louder than most AT tires. Much louder than the Duratracs and BFG TA KOs that I had before these.
  2. Hard pack snow traction is mediocre. They're not as bad as some MT, but they're nowhere near the performance of the Duratrac. They seem to do almost as well as BFG TA KO but not quite.
  3. Sometimes they're hard to find a deal on and I think they went up in price recently.
