After reading a post from fireguy where he shows how he uses a paintball tank for his ARB, it makes me have a few questions about my setup. I'll be using a tank too, not a paintball one, but my solenoid valve is a little dfferent than the ARB one. It came with my used dana 44 with ARB installed.
The solenoid works fine, but I have a question about how to bleed the line. Notice the brass plug in the pic.
It screws into the solenoid.
When I take it off it will bleed excess air in the line after the solenoid goes closed, but I obviously don't want to just leave an exposed hole. How does the stock ARB solenoid bleed the air? Is there sa one way air valve I could screw in there? Anything special about the ARB air line? I need to replace mine and would like to just get it at a store for cheap. Diameter?
