I found a guy that has a bunch of F250s and Excursions in his junkyard. All of them have axles still on them so I'm curious is there any particular year that's better for a front swap? I was searching the interwebs found some conflicting info one site said 99 to 03 had a D50 front and then 04 up had d60s another site said 04s still had the d50 and 05s is when the switch was made to d60s. So I was just curious if anyone has an opinion?

I’m kind of different than most because I don’t like the newer 60s. Not a fan of ball joints and unit bearings. That being said, the new ones can be easier to swap and hold up to most people’s use. But nothing beats a kingpin 60 for reliability and longevity, imo. That’s why I keep buying them.
