They do have a different tab configuration from the later style. If typical Ford application, you could get from any mid 80's Ford.. Next time I get to the PAP junkyard, will have to look.

Are you able to see if the connection of the terminal where the relays plug into are corroded? What is their condition? If they have corrosion, when it freezes, it may make the connection even worse. The green corrosion may not be conductive.

Older post but informative

Like the newer Fords I think one relay applies to many applications. On my 96 Bronco they are all the same as the ones in my 94 Crown Vic, just a different case.

EEC:

E3AF-12?A546

Also a B16/70E underneath the above number.

It’s just printed on the relay and it’s fading fast. So YMMV.

Fuel pump relay unlegible.

I think I pulled these out of a yard truck.
OK! Now we're talking. I was able to use that info to do a search and came up with this:

ID number: E3TB-9345-A2A / Ford part number: E3TZ9345A replaced by F19Z9345A replaced by F8PZ14N135AA .. Fuel Pump Relay (Motorcraft DY864).

-----------------------------------------------
ID number: E3AF-12A646-B2B / Ford part number: E3AZ12A646A replaced by F8PZ14N135BA .. EEC Relay Assy. (Motorcraft DY865)

I checked out the pictures and those look like the exact match for my/our rigs (if you have the 5 pin style connector)

No worries P3. If you still want those numbers, I'll do what I can to help just give me a specific idea which ones. Hate to waste time and effort out there when it's this cold. Woke up to -5 this morning but the temp gauge says we got down to -16 last night. My plow wouldn't even move, so I had to use the quad. It's warming up soon... if you consider near freezing "warm", which I do at this point. Not to rub it in but my rigs parked in the pole barn, plugged in and she fired right up.

Figured you'd gone through some of those potentials I mentioned but you never know around here. God knows I've gotten so wrapped up in an issue before, I couldn't see the forest through the trees. I did run into some nasty corrosion back-chasing issues with the tailgate harness in my last '90, under the rig... and some corrosion inside the harness with this '95's tailgate, so I thought it might be worth the mention.

I couldn't imagine living in any condo, townhouse or apt situation after being out in the country for so long. All's I ever hear about these days is what a pain in the ass they can be... right up there with HOA's and the like. Garage was big on my list when we were home shopping but I settled for a pole barn. Have to replace my roof this spring though... so they have thier major positives and a few negatives too.

Anyhow... I'll be happy to help if I can, just thought I should bring that up after taking a look through my paper back Ford EVTM.
@miesk5 might be able to get you an OEM part number. Pretty sure he has digital EVTM with a couple thousand bookmarks. ;)
We found 'em Pepe! No need to go out in that weather, but thank you for the offer. For anyone searching if you have 5 pin connectors the numbers should be:

ID number: E3TB-9345-A2A / Ford part number: E3TZ9345A replaced by F19Z9345A replaced by F8PZ14N135AA .. Fuel Pump Relay (Motorcraft DY864).

Update for anyone following the thread:

I went to the machine shop last night to check on my 408 build. On the way home the fuel pump relay started freezing up while I was driving, it was clicking on and off and making the engine sputter. I was pretty sure I was going to end up on the side of the road, but after the bay was warm, it quit. No more issues.

Last night when I parked the truck I took an old tank top (think Hanes stained with a little pasta sauce) and wrapped it tightly around the relays. I zip tied it to hold it snugly in place.

Temps last night dropped to about 17. It was cold, but not cold for...earth. The relays functioned fine this morning.

There isn't much visible corrosion on the sockets, BUT, there may be corrosion I can't see from the top. I am planning on replacing the sockets with these:

Ford Fuel Pump Relay Pigtail Computer Wiring Harness Socket Connector Plug NOS | eBay
Ford Computer Electronic Engine Control Relay Harness Connector Socket Plug NOS | eBay

The part number for the relay has changed several times over the years, I was able to order some NOS online, but if you need them you'll need to do some searching around, or pull from a JY.

What about keeping a couple (a few?) in a small insulated packet/container/bag thingy to have in case you really need to get it rolling again in a hurry?
I can see a scenarios where the normally annoying, could turn into a race to get it going again.
Maybe an insulated packet could keep them warm enough inside the cabin to use in a pinch. That way you don't have to keep them in your pocket or remember to get them out of the house before you leave on the next outing.

Sounds like the tank top rescue is working so far, and that's great. But I always think of the "just in case" times when something that worked yesterday, ain't up to it's task today.
Might fall under the cheap insurance heading.

@1Tonbasecamp -
Thank you for the reminder to follow up on this.

Here's what I did:
I went to Walmart and picked up a pair of Dickie's wool blend extra thick socks. I put the relays into the socks then folded the socks back on themselves to make an extra thick "blanket". Pictures below. The next day the temperature was around 5 degrees in the morning. I went outside and used a laser thermometer to measure the temperature of the relay, it came back at 41 degrees. Not exactly warm, but above freezing. The truck started. I ran this solution until I was able to source Motorcraft relays and new Motorcraft sockets. I installed everything and have not had an issue with relays since. I have a new issue with RPM dropping intermittently while driving, but that's for another thread.

One other interesting thing to note:
I weighed the aftermarket relays compared to the Motorcraft ones. The Motorcraft relays are roughly 15% heavier than the aftermarket, 37 grams for aftermarket, 44 grams for Motorcraft. The Motorcraft ones also have a much better seal around the electrical components. The "lid" doesn't come off so they appear to be much more watertight. The prongs on the connections are also held in place with a metal tab as opposed to just sitting in the plastic. They're much better made overall. Motorcraft is black, aftermarket is gray.

Or you could move to Texas. We got some cold spots but if we hit 5C it’s a cold snap. 5F and we say hell has frozen over.

If I could find a job that paid near what I'm getting now, I'd move to pretty much anywhere out of this area. I've been looking for a while but haven't landed anything yet. I'm 100% thinking about it though.

I wouldn't move anywhere, but I've got a few areas I would move to. Money has also been the issue.

Good luck in your search!
