My work currently has a project they're doing that has gobs of steel tubing left over that I have access to. Basically, I can pile up on 3"x2"x1/8" and 2"x2"x1/8" square tubing if I want to.
Before I do, however, I wanted to make sure that if I were to create a bumper for it out of that material if it'd be up to the task. Is 1/8" walled square tubing strong enough? Or would I go through all of that work and at the first bump be bending it?
Thanks.
