well i finally found a body for a swap...

1987 Nissan pathfinder... bought it for 250 cash complete with no body damage.

today and yesterday i gutted the interior and am working on the engine bay now.

I will be putting this on a (probably shortened) bronco frame... the wheel base is really close so i wont have to chop it too bad... i plan on a small body lift and a 4 inch suspension with the 36 inch TSL's i have....im going to move the firewall back and make a custom dash to accommodate the 400 and c6...

well wish me luck most of the cutting and stuff wont start till june when i can get it out to the college...for now im just preping the body..

pics of the body tomorrow in the light

dosnt have badges exept little pinstripe letters on the tailgate that say pathfinder...ya this is going to be fun..i like stuff like this though..

so far i have 6 hours in driving to get it....
and 8 hours in stripping the interior...the nice thing is it already has a nice reciever hitch (going on my other bronco) and that saved me 100 bucks...and they come factory with a really heavy duty tire carrier that im going to integrate into a custom 2x4 bumper... it worked out perfectly with this body....because its about the same wheel base, and the wheel wells can handle 36's.. but no removable top...(YET)

also i can use the ac condensor as a tranny cooler and i can re use the stock fuse box when i rewire it.. also had perfect seats

well i quickly measured and it looks like the wheel base is only about 3-4 inches shorter than the bronco so i probably wont cut the frame...also i need some input about radiator options...

its looking like the radiator might not fit in front of the engine...any suggestions here? i don't know about having it in the cab...would probably get pretty hot in there.
