OK, I tore my spindles out a while ago and cleaned them up. I have new inner spindle bearings and I am getting ready to install them tonight. I think I remember a large brass flat washer that the axle shaft seal rode against. It sits between the bearing and the seal. is this correct? I cant find the damn things if so and JBG doesnt show them either to buy so now I am guessing myself. Thanks for the help.

ok, found my own answer . . the technical name is "spindle bearing thrust washer." Older ones were brass washer and the new spindle bearing kits come with plastic washers. My timken part #nbk1 from autozone didn't come with a new washer, just the seals and bearing.
