i would love to see a write up for the cut out, been thinking of doing this forever, but not sure i would want to do it myself. maybe the bushwacker directions would be more clear if i had the parts to look at.

I really wish they made the flairs for our trucks with the little screw pocket holes, rather than just flat. Flairs look soooo much better with screw pockets!

I fit 38.5's with 6 inch skyjacker lift with no rub at all...thinking of going to 40's maybe 42's....

 

Funny, I just bought a set of cut-outs last night. I was thinking about putting them on myself but its freezing here. Instead of waiting for the warmer weather I might see much it will cost to have somebody install them for me.

 

What's on your bko now for flares, I can't tell from your avatar what they are?

Be careful with your cutouts, they will crack fairly easy if you rub on a tree or something.My buddy's gottem' on his yota and they are beat up pretty bad.

I am curious if anyone has used the early bronco super flexy flares, looks like they could be made to fit anything.

 

You have to cut the fenders for cut outs.

Flare, Modification; "...i used flares off of a 98 ford explorer sport 2 door 4 door wont work. the fender radius is almost the same. only mods i had to do was where the "V" shape is towards bottom of truck i had to slightly mod the flares by cutting them with a die grinder. the screw holes along the fender lip also matched up nicely. it tooka couple of days of trial fitting but they look nice. and along the top i instaled small bolts so they look the pocket flares made by bushwacker. this was necessary to hold them tightly to the body. it cost me a total of 50.00 to put these on. flares where 30.00 at pull a part auto wrecking..."

So the 87-91 cutout flares will work on a 94-96? Is that what's shown in those 2 pics hav24wheel posted?

 

Yes that's right.

But I decided to go with a lift on mine instead of cutouts, because the wouldn't have helped where my tires hit anyways.

 

Or buy Fiberglass...

 

Still wouldn't help in some situations.

My tires would hit the very bottom of the radiator support at full turn.

 

I like the cut outs. I recently bought a 1996, it has the normal rear wheel well rust. my question is, is the any way to retain the inner wheel wells in the front atleast, with cut-outs?
