I'm most likely going to move them into the hardtop on my 96 this fall. I'm getting nervous I'm going to break one on a trail! That's actually what prompted the soft top purchase; the half cab is super cool for wheeling but the kiddo was bummed the back seat was removed. These days I seem to do bronco mods based on whether or not my 8yo thinks they're cool or not

Thanks!
Its pretty convenient for a trail rig. You have a lot more room behind the front seats than you do in a standard cab, and you have a 4'7" bed with tonneau which is more than enough to fit a spare and some tools and recovery gear. So really, it does work well. BUT! The little dude likes cruising in the back seat with the top off (or now with the soft top w/ the windows out), and he's the boss 😁

Oh crap youre right :ROFLMAO:

You do realize broken glass can be replaced... Its the seals that cant be replaced! I know where a topper with sliders is, but its for the 78 and 79s ☹. Sitting in the weeds about 1.5 miles from my house.

The bronco it came from, which i havent seen in years, was 4 linked front and rear, with D60s F/R, and 4 wheel steering. Ive often thought of stopping in there but i never see anyone outside.
Yeah i think you could get a replacement piece of glass made, but the seals are unobtanium. I did find felt window run channel online to rebuild my set, but thankfully the seals are good because i doubt ill ever find another set.

Real talk how do like the soft topper? I’m thinking about buying one eventually.
I actually like it a lot! I got it used on FBMP for $200 with no instructions or the rear bar weatherstrip for the tailgate, but otherwise it is in very good shape. Its doesnt flutter or make any noise when cruising down the road. Or at least, if it does i cant hear it over the tire hum

Once i figured out how to install it, it went on fairly quickly. The windows can be removed in a minute or two which is probably all id ever do when driving around (to keep the sun off the little dude!), but from there its only a couple more seconds and the top comes down. So i think ill end up using this soft top more than anything else. The only weird thing is you have to remove the rear window bar to put the tailgate down, but its only held in place with wingnuts which makes its removal pretty quick & easy though.
