KOER codes

1992 f150 5.0L

I went and ran a KOER test and it gave me back the codes 129, 167, 225, 536, 632.

129-insufficient MAF change. ok... no MAF equipped in this truck
167-TPS fault during test.
225-Knock sensor fault
536-BOO circuit- i forgot to hit brake...
632-Overdrive switch -forgot to switch off...

My question is, how do i go about fixing the 129,167,225 codes?

Yep i had just got done driving. Turned it off and then did the test. I did hit the gas pedal too when the code "10" popped up after the cylinder read, at least thats what the book on mine said to do. I will go out and re-run the test a second and third time tho. Thanks for the quick response!

Your 1992 5.0L came with a Speed Density PCM and you now have a MAF PCM. Note the 3 Digit Codes.

Are you sure that there is no MAF Sensor? Or was a new PCM installed without it? To be sure, what is the Programming Code of your existing PCM?

Am I wrong on this?

No Drew. I was thinking there is a difference between 2 digit and 3 digit codes, but after searching the net for a while now, I am not sure what the difference is. Maybe no difference.

My old OBD-I Speed Density PCM always gave me 2 digit codes. I was initially thinking OBD-I MAF gave 3 digit codes. I am now thinking this may not necessarily be true.

Maybe someone knows? :scratchhe

2 Digit to 3 Digit "...Ford went from two-digit to three-digit EEC IV Self-Test codes in 1991 to service the increasing number of service codes required to support various government On-Board Diagnostic (OBD) regulations. The phase-in from two-digit to three-digit codes started in the 1991 model year. 1996 Broncos have OBD II that has 3-4 numbers beginning with a Letter; usually a P
