Should I run 33s or 35s?

4" lift. I am leaning towards 33s because they clear the fenders perfectly and look like they have full articulation. Currently have 31s and they look a bit too small 🤣

Let's hear some outside opinions.

I love the way either looks with the 4" lift and I probably looked at every damn picture on the internet when trying to figure out what to do. I went with 35's, but I have the bullnose so they probably fit a bit different. I think yours would look sharp with 33's if I have to pick!

I don't want to throw water on this but have you thought about what gear ratio you have. 35's and 3.55 is no fun unless you're crawling around a mall parking lot.
I'll be regearing over the summer.

You can get away with 33's without re-gearing, especially since you have a 351. If you are already planning to re-gear, just decide how big you want to be and plan from there. 35 and 6" lift is a commitment, 33 and 4" lift is more daily-doable, IMHO.

33s look too small to me on a 4" lift. Isnt your spare a 33?

I have a set of worn and crumbling 36" swampers on 5 lug wheels we can test fit.

OP go with 33s, I feel like that's what you really want. Although my truck isn't finished, I feel that my 37s are looking small already. Imho it's better to go a little bigger jic you get bored. The ttb will certainly handle the 35s so you're good with either 33 or 35. From experience, it is always easier to sell larger tires than smaller tires, unless it's a 44"+, lol

I'm putting 35s and 4.56 on mine with 4 inch lift. I like the fenders full though.

The lift is now completed, and the 31s look a bit small! I prefer as big of tires as possible, but 33s will look good on it. And give plenty of flex without rubs

One thing I didn't care for when I ran the 35" Boggers was the power loss. Even with my 4.10 gears it was sluggish. Then again I only have about 200 hp to work with here. My other truck came stock with 450 hp and 510 ft lbs. of torque. With my 33's and 4.10s the power level feels close to stock. If you go with 35's I'd go with 4.56 gears

Boggers are heavy, and much of the weight is the lugs, so the weight is far away from the central axis. They are power hogs for sure.

35s are great with 4.56 or even 4.88 if you have overdrive. All the f250/350 ive had have been 4.10 gears and 33s. It is a great combination.

Hell... I'm running a 6" lift on 33's and 4.56. I'm good with the setup. Looks a little odd but works for me. The only real loss is a little axle clearance but much easier for my 5'6" gimpy ass to get in and out of and wheel clearance galore.

Here's the back of my rig standing next to @RicoBronco w/a 4" lift on 35's...

Whether you are getting 35x12.5x15" tires or 35x12.5x17" tires they both require/recommend a 8.5"-11" wide rim. Could you fit the 35x12.5x15 tire on an 8" wide stock rim? Yes absolutely but depending on the Pressure in the tire (to high) it could wear out the center faster. The lower the air pressure in the tire the more it flexes the harder you make a turn and is not responsive to steering input. That was one of the reasons (the Major reason) of the Firestone Debacle Ford had with Rollovers way back when. Ford only called for 26lbs of air in the tire to make it ride smooth but that wasn't enough to keep the tire from rolling under and catching an edge on an emergency maneuver/turn also the lower pressure caused a lot of tire/belt flexing which in turn caused tire temperatures to rise and cause belt separation. BFG All-Terrain T/A KO2 and General Grabber ATX 35x12.5x15 tires both call for 35psi Max. the same model tires above in a 17" tire both call for 65psi Max. Just giving some reference info to make a better decision and a Safer one also. Good luck.
