Soft brake problems

I need some help, I bought my daughter a 1995 Bronco and we are having a soft brake pedal problem. I have replaced all of the rear brakes, new MC, and booster. Bled all 4 sides, MC was bench-bled before installation, brake pedal is very spongy no matter what I do. Is there a way to bleed the abs system? Any other suggestions?

Hi @dux406, welcome to the FSB family. I'm going to move this over to the noobie section so it gets better visibility. In the meantime, can you tell us the procedure you used to bleed the brakes? If they're still soft there's definitely air in there somewhere.

I’m going through something similar but maybe different it sounds with my ‘06 Expedition—pedal will slowly go to the floor with vacuum to the booster; firm pedal without booster or engine off. I’m in the process of swapping out the ABS valves/pump assembly as I suspect a leaking dump valve in the rear circuit. Question for you is does the pedal pump up thereby indicating trapped air or does the pedal want to go to the floor regardless of pump action?
