Stuck hub

My driver side warn premium hub is basically stuck in the lock position after a nice run in the mud. I can only move it about an inch in the "free" direction, after that though it is completely stuck. Could it be mud is inside it gunking it up and not allowing it to move? I didn't think that was supposed to be able to happen. Anyway, for now I'm keeping the other hub locked too, since if one is going to be locked for now it's probably better to keep the other one locked too. I'm probably going to end up having to take it apart, unless one of you guys have a solution.

Could be water-contaminated grease gumming it up. Id pop the cap and take a peek.

I always pull my hubs after every wheelin trip, mainly just to see what the grease & bearings looks like. After all, it is just a couple allen head screws, so if everything is clean then its like a 5-minute job. Good insurance if ya ask me.

Oh, and yes you can run with one hub locked; wont hurt anything and itll probably make it a little easier to steer.
