i dont know where mark is at with this but i am prolly lookin at beg of aug before i can come up to get the motor this yr is way too busy
I'd probably head down there just for the fun of it for a drive sometime this month. Can't seem to get any wheeling trips together at this point. But I can't pick up any engine at this point. the axle would just slide in the back of the truck. Just the axle right, no gears, no shafts, no knuckles out?

7lbronco, when is the best time to come? A saturday?

Saturday, or Sunday, is fine. I would like to keep the axle shafts, if you already have a good set. The axle is complete, including the brakes. I also have the gearsets I changed out,if you want them. 3.50 ratio with 81K on them. No noise, no chipped teeth.

You just changed model year axles but are still running all ford 1/2 ton stuff right? I really don't need knuckles out since all my stuff is chevy 3/4ton at that point. Don't need the shafts either, I've got a full second set.:thumbup Wouldn't need the gears either, but if you want leave then in there that's fine. I'd just stuff rags in the ends to make I didn't lose gear oil all over.
