Interior Tire Carrier ?

So my 96 rig came with the exterior tire mount.
I want to mount it inside.
Will an interior mount out of an older rig fit ?

For inside spare wheel carrier removal and installation, refer to the following illustration.

That's cool, but looks easy to make. Just get a thick piece of aluminum and drill the pattern. For that matter, you could just stack washers. The stock front mounts could be modded pretty easy also. In the pic it only looks like an inch thick. So how does it move the seat 2.75"? Maybe it sits up straighter.
