Yes another noob lift / tire question?

OK here is my question, I am planning on 6" of suspension lift. From what I have read the 91 Brick nose has smaller wheel wells. In the lift section it says I can do a 35 with trimming ( tight squeeze ). Now I am doing a SAS swap with coil over and 14" shocks for lots of droop and extended radius arms. I have a really nice set of quarters and fenders and do not want to put a sawzall to them. So do I need to reconsider tire size and go 33" so I do not eat my nice newly painted sheet metal? I had 33s on it when I got it with no lift but they were like inches away from making lunch out of my fenders and bumper. What's you guys experience on it, 6" sounds like a lot to me for 35" tires are they gonna be ok ?

bumpstops. if you are properly set up your tires can't touch fenders. I haven't finished my bronco yet so can't tell ya exactly what cool stuff is available for bump stops but on my long arm Cherokee I used hockey pucks. I got a set of plates for the top of leaf springs. normally u have that square piece on top the u bolts come up through...well this replaces that and adds a few inches so u can put your bumps(pucks) on the plate where it contacts the frame

Rear wheel wells should be the same as 92-96. 80-86 has the smaller square wells. My avatar pic is a 94 with 6" lift and 37-12.50 tires. The front bumper was trimmed about an inch. I jumped this setup many times in my dumber days up to 80 mph and a max of probably 6 foot altitude with a skyjacker kit without a problem.

I have 37's on my current Bronco with 4" of lift and have plenty of room in the wheel wells but I have cut out fender flares so the fender isn't a concern.

I do not have a very flexible suspension relative to coil overs but I do have extended radius arms.

I don't need any more than 35s, going for some mud, snow, hill climbs and definetly some rocky trails. No extreme rock crawling but extreme to me is when you are laying on the side or roof LOL. I have rolled a few times and do not have plans to do it again after a complete build up and fresh paint. I plan on using the truck and want all the flex I can get but not looking to tear it up.

I see guys running 35s on trucks with just a 3" body lift but I would not drive it over a parking block, kinda mall of a mall cruiser. I want to be able to use it is all and not scrub the fender wells or eat the fenders under flex. I know pre runners are highly modified bodies with fiberglass fenders and quarters, which would be cool but real expensive and a huge amount of work.
